The Love Won Out conferences on "leaving homosexuality" will be handed over in November to a longtime ministry partner, Orlando, Fla.-based Exodus International.
Just when you think there might be some hope for the right-wing evangelical movement, some nut comes along and proves you wrong. Not that we would expect anything different from Colorado-based Focus on the Family (BTW, one of several uber right religious groups bankrolled by the wacky Ahmansons from Orange County, CA who also fund the Institute for Religion and Democracy (IRD)).
Just to be clear, I never had any hope for the evangelical movement, whether Dobson and his hateful group of clowns, or smooth talking Rick Warren. So no disappointment for me.
But for those of you that had hope, I hope this clears your malaise right quick.
