New Information On Schofield And His Absence

There has been lots of speculation about why John David Schofield "decided" at the last minute not to attend Lambeth when it is reported, he was excited and ready to go.

This is the first time I have read, however,
this take
from Anglicans United:

Some would say there was little reason for optimism. We learned yesterday that The Rt. Rev. John-David Schofield’s invitation was withdrawn last week, as were the invitations of two bishops from Recife, Brazil. All three are now under the Most Rev. Greg Venables of the Southern Cone. It seems that they, like the “irregularly consecrated bishops of CANA and the AMiA” in the states, will not be recognized.
This makes a good deal of sense and MAY be why Archbishop Venables of the Argentina-based Southern Cone is actually attending Lambeth when his colleagues from GAFCON/FOCA aren't.

Seems as though Venables has run into a problem, hardly surprising.
