This poor little kitty is Charm. Charm is a white Persian and here, having first arrived from the shelter, you can see how obviously sick she is. Charm had an upper respiratory infection with eye infection/cold, was severely underweight, covered in fleas and flea dirt, and because of her cold, wouldn't eat.
Here is Charm, all better, a month or so later, eating (after we forcefed her in the meantime), and off all medications. We gave her a bath and so much flea dirt came off this cat that the bath water was bright red. It took three shampoos and rinses to get her clean. She is a gorgeous and VERY nice cat, bless her heart.
How do we find middle ground?
